About the Quarterback Club

The Dobyns-Bennett Quarterback Club was established in 1982 with the  purpose of supporting the Indian football team and promoting community  involvement. Today, through support of parents and community sponsors,  the Quarterback Club is able to provide multiple meals per week to all  players through the football season, provide a first-class end of year  awards banquet, college scholarships to senior players for qualified  applicants, as well as a pre-season picnic and end of season College  Bowl Trip for senior players.

The Quarterback Club encourages all  supporters of Dobyns-Bennett football to join us and become club members  on Tuesday nights throughout the football season.  On the Tuesday  following each varsity game, the Club meets at 6 pm in the upstairs  conference room of the Alumni Field House.  Join us as we discuss  various club business and enjoy hearing from a guest speaker.  Make sure  to stay long enough to hear Coach Joey Christian hand out player of the  week awards, review the previous game, and preview the upcoming game.

Through the efforts of many volunteers, the Dobyns Bennett Quarterback Club supports the Indians Football team by providing pre-game meals, scholarships, funds for supplies and equipment, etc.. Many volunteers are parents of current and previous DB football players while others simply love DB football and graciously volunteer their time. If you are a parent or fan please contact us if you would like to volunteer. It is a very rewarding experience.
